Your Visit

What an appointment looks like.

Straightforward, unhurried, and explained as it goes.

The appointment

What happens.

  1. A conversation about your history and anything currently bothering you.
  2. An examination of teeth, gums, bite and soft tissues.
  3. Imaging where it is needed to see between or below the teeth.
  4. A clear explanation of what was found and what, if anything, needs doing.
Availability for new patients changes from time to time. Please call the practice to ask rather than relying on any website, including this one.

Questions

What should I bring?

Any dental insurance details, a list of medications you take, and the name of your previous dentist if there are records to transfer.

How long will the appointment take?

A first appointment runs longer than a routine one because it includes a full examination. Ask when you call so you can plan your day.

I have put this off for a long time.

That is a common reason people book, not a reason to keep waiting. The first visit establishes where things stand and in what order to deal with them.
